Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year at Belvedere School! 

I am thrilled to have the privilege of working alongside you to educate and nurture your children. Our team of dedicated educators are committed to creating a welcoming, safe and engaging learning environment where your child can learn, grow and succeed.

Our vision at Belvedere is to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive learning community where wellness, belonging and active engagement will inspire everyone to grow and thrive, shaping a brighter future.

At Belvedere we believe our greatest gift is the diversity of our students and community. We celebrate our students by creating a caring and respectful school that fosters a sense of belonging for all students, where every child can flourish and feel proud of themselves. We value and embrace classrooms which are diverse in worldview, culture, language and interests. We encourage our students to believe that they are capable of growing academically, socially and emotionally, that all children can experience success. 

Our parent community is vital in the success of all our students. We strive to build strong and supportive  relationships between staff, students and families, knowing this is key in determining the level of success achieved by our students. 

I believe that learning is a dynamic journey, filled with successes and challenges. Every student brings their own unique set of strengths, interests and learning styles that should be acknowledged and embraced. Our goal is to help students see mistakes not as failures, but as an essential part of the learning process, cultivating a growth mindset.

At Belvedere, we program for students from kindergarten to grade 6 in an inclusive setting. Our positive environment allows students to feel comfortable taking risks in their learning. We work collaboratively to build confident and resilient learners, and take collective responsibility for all of our students, ensuring they receive the support they need to be successful.

Our mission at Belvedere is to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students and staff are encouraged to reach their full potential - academically, socially and emotionally while fostering respect, responsibility, authenticity and lifelong learning.

We are committed to building relationships with families and the community, in a climate of mutual trust and respect. It takes a village to support a child in their education journey. Pre-enrol for Next School Year - 2026-2027 School Pre-enrolment & Registration Information

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.

If you have questions about registering, contact the school office.

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL

You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens at 8 a.m. on February 2. The deadline to pre-enrol your child is 4 p.m. on March 25.

New to Belvedere for 2026-2027 - School Tours (Open House)

Are you interested in attending Belvedere School for the 2026-2027 school year? Take the guesswork out of choosing a school and join us at one of our upcoming school tours and information evenings (this will not be a formal open house event). It’s your chance to ask questions and meet our admin team to learn more about our school.

Belvedere School is full in planned classes in Kindergarten to Grade 6 for 2025-2026

For the 2025-2026 school year, Belvedere School is full in planned classes from Kindergarten to Grade 6 in the regular program. A Kindergarten student who is a resident and lives in the school's attendance area may still register. We will only accept resident students in Grades 1 to 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

If you are registering for Kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.

Dear Parents/Guardians of Upcoming Kindergarten Students:

As you plan for your child to attend kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year, this is an ideal time to review your child’s immunization history. It is important to keep your
child’s immunizations up to date in order to prevent disease and to help keep them healthy.

Children are due for the following routine vaccine at 4 years of age:
• Diphtheria / Pertussis / Tetanus / Polio

This immunization is provided free of charge.

Immunization Records: any Albertan can submit immunization records, including out-of-province/country records at: Immunization record submission (alberta.ca)

Please call Health Link at 8-1-1 to book an appointment for your child.
