Whether your child is staying at the same school or changing schools, all students need to pre-enrol. Knowing how many students to expect helps schools prepare to welcome them in September.  If you need help, contact the school or read the Pre-enrolment Handout.

Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Belvedere School!

I am thrilled to have the privilege of working alongside you to educate and nurture your children. Our team of dedicated educators are committed to creating a welcoming, safe and engaging learning environment where your child can learn, grow and succeed.

At Belvedere we believe our greatest gift is the diversity of our students and community. We celebrate our students by creating a caring and respectful school that fosters a sense of belonging for all students, where every child can flourish and feel proud of themselves. We value and embrace classrooms which are diverse in worldview, culture, language and interests. We encourage our students to believe that they are capable of growing academically, socially and emotionally, that all children can experience success.

Our parent community is vital in the success of all our students. We strive to build strong and supportive  relationships between staff, students and families, knowing this is key in determining the level of success achieved by our students.

I believe that learning is a dynamic journey, filled with successes and challenges. Every student brings their own unique set of strengths, interests and learning styles that should be acknowledged and embraced. Our goal is to help students see mistakes not as failures, but as an essential part of the learning process, cultivating a growth mindset.

At Belvedere, we program for students from kindergarten to grade 6 in an inclusive setting. Our positive environment allows students to feel comfortable taking risks in their learning. We work collaboratively to build confident and resilient learners, and take collective responsibility for all of our students, ensuring they receive the support they need to be successful.

We are committed to building relationships with families and the community, in a climate of mutual trust and respect. It takes a village to support a child in their education journey. Communication is key, and I encourage you to stay connected with us through regular communication channels such as our website, newsletters and SchoolZone. Please feel free to contact us at 780-476-2022.

On behalf of the entire Belvedere School family, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for entrusting us with your children’s education. Let's embark on this exciting journey together, supporting each other every step of the way.

Here’s to a wonderful school year filled with growth, laughter, and celebrations!

In Partnership,

Ronali Ferguson, Principal
