Belvedere School is an open boundary school for grades 1 - 6.  Please refer to the information below when registering for our Kindergarten program.  Our designated attendance area consists of Belvedere, Cy Becker and North McConachie (north of 174 Avenue).

Kindergarten Random Selection Information:

If Belvedere is not your designated school and we receive more registrations than we can accommodate in our Kindergarten program your child may be chosen by random selection.  Our designated attendance area is comprised of the communities of Belvedere, Cy Becker and North McConachie.

Random Selection:   Should space be available for students from outside our designated attendance area and if the number of resident students who want to attend Kindergarten at Belvedere School exceeds the available space, new registrations from outside the school’s designated attendance area will be chosen by random selection. The random selection process is conducted by District administration to ensure that all students are provided equal opportunity to attend the school or program. Where needed, random selections will be completed, and parents notified, no later than April 23, 2020.

Following the close of pre-enrolment on April 15th at 4:00 pm, any Division school that conducted a random selection process will only accept resident students who move into the attendance area for the upcoming school year. Non-resident students of the attendance area may only enrol in another Division school with space remaining in planned classes.
